It’s no secret that Chipotle’s Honey Chicken has become one of the better limited-time offerings from the chain. It provides a great mix of sweet and heat and is a great option for those who want something different from the standard chicken.
But sadly, like many fan favorites, the popular menu item will be leaving locations nationwide. Even so, it’s not all doom and gloom, as Chipotle has a special deal today that celebrates the beloved Honey Chicken.
Get free double protein for today only at Chipotle
Today only, when ordering on the Chipotle app and using the promo code PROTEIN, customers can get double protein for free. Yes, you heard that right.
Anything from carnitas to chicken to steak can be ordered as a double portion without the hassle of paying extra.
“Fans have made their love for Chipotle Honey Chicken clear, so we couldn’t send it back to the vault without one last celebration,” said Stephanie Perdue, Vice President of Brand Marketing for Chipotle, via a press release regarding the promo. “To mark the occasion, we’re offering guests free double protein on August 27.”
Ultimately, the deal serves as the latest promotion that Chipotle has offered its customers. Not too long ago, Chipotle offered a BOGO for anyone who wanted to throw on their college gear, and now it’s giving us all the chance to indulge in some extra protein.
But perhaps the best part is that you don’t have to ask for extra meat and anxiously hope the person scooping your food into your burrito or bowl alerts the cashier that you got double protein.
Nope. You simply visit the Chipotle app, enter the code and unlock the ability to get a little more food (potentially) than you usually do.
So, if you’re looking for a Chipotle fix, be sure to get on the app and grab some extra protein today.
May the portion sizes be forever in your favor.
